On this site, you can register to participate in experiments conducted by the Center for Experimental Social Science at New York University. The lab is located at 19 West 4th Street, Room 522 (5th Floor).

The first step in the registration process is to register in our database with an NYU email address. This step does not commit you to participate in any particular experiment, but you will receive email notifications about upcoming experiments when they are scheduled. You must be enrolled as an NYU student in order to participate in experiments with CESS. If you do not bring a valid NYU ID, you will be turned away at the door.

All CESS experiments must be approved by the NYU Institutional Review Board (IRB) before subject recruitment. Additional information about participating in experiments can be found in the FAQ.
